Very important for the 1999-2008 Husabergs. BUT it does fit All models, All CC, All years. Replaces the single conical spring 1999-2003; 20021001 and 2004-2008; 59436028044
These are DVSK to our design. They are slightly stronger than the kibblewhites. Both types have light valve bounce at the redline with the 53, 55 and 5521 cams
You can actually feel the difference in performance.
The biggest benefit From This Dual Valve Spring Kit is that they are reliable.
OEM 'conicals' can break and the damage can be nothing and just poor starting or a "destructo" engine.
The next advantage is that they give the Cam Follower bearings an easier time,
they give the Camchain an easier time,
the tappet pads don't cup,
the valves won't 'tulip'
the stems won't dome
and the Cam bearings won't collapse!
The kit is for all 4 valves and comes with details on getting the 'installed height' right (the compressed length of the springs).
The 2004 engines are a straight fit, those before need a little rotary filing
The head should be removed ideally for this task and if the engine has been thrashed at all - look for tuliped valves.
Later 2007 & 2008's are having broken valve springs or spring caps,
they are distorting the stem of the valve.
Rare? Try 3 in a week in early September 2010!
So don't look at this kit as 'just for show': they are an important retro-fitable piece of kit.

"I now have my new double spring set up installed to my 550, its definately quiter running and tick over is rock steady, i'ts never run so sweet. It runs quieter as you say and it ticks over real nice now, which it never did before, i've even been able to drop the tick over speed.
